Refunds & Cancellations

1. No Prepaid Balance
Vahanz is COD-only. You do not pre-pay freight or maintain a prepaid wallet — freight is netted from the COD collected on each shipment at settlement. There are therefore no top-up payments to refund.
2. Shipment Cancellations
- Before pickup / manifest: If a shipment has been created but not yet handed over to Delhivery, you may request cancellation via support. If the shipment never moves, no freight is charged for it.
- After pickup: Once a shipment is in transit, it cannot be cancelled, and the applicable freight charge stands and is reflected in your settlement.
3. Lost or Damaged Shipments
Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be raised directly with Delhivery through their claims process within the timeframe specified in their terms. Vahanz will assist with shipment documentation upon request but is not liable for compensation beyond what Delhivery awards.
4. RTO (Return to Origin) Charges
If a shipment is returned to origin (RTO), Delhivery charges a return freight fee. This fee is reflected in your settlement. RTO charges are non-refundable.
5. Settlement & Weight-Discrepancy Disputes
Delhivery issues its freight invoice after delivery, and the billed weight can differ from the declared weight. Final freight is reconciled on Delhivery's actual billed weight. If you believe a freight charge, billed weight or COD remittance on your settlement is incorrect, raise it within 7 days of the settlement statement and we will reconcile it against Delhivery's invoice and adjust your settlement if warranted.

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and resolve it within 7 business days.
